Denver WR Brandon Marshall: DWAI Plea in Colorado; More Charges Filed in Georgia
Brandon Marshall was a fantasy owners’ dream in the second regular season game, but some old and some new legal proceedings are clouding the off-field picture for Marshall:
- On Friday the 12th, Marshall pled guilty to a charge of Driving While Ability Impaired and was placed on 12 months of probation
- Misdemeanor Battery Charges were reportedly filed in Fulton County, GA on September 10th
We’ll see how the league reacts to the guilty plea to Driving While Ability Impaired, and of course the legal system will take its own course regarding the battery charges in Georgia. However, it is clear that Marshall isn’t out of the woods yet when it comes to off-field issues/possible league sanctions.
Hopefully, he’ll calm down off the field and start making smarter decisions going forward…
