		<description>I have to agree - especially when, if I recall correctly, a large part of the reason Del Rio went with Garrard is that Leftwich took too many sacks and didn't have a fast enough release. Just remember: He's not the slowest QB out there (Bledsoe is still in the league right?), "just the slowest black QB". 

That said, you're right - they had to do something, and Leftwich was the easy answer. You have to imagine they'll be targeting Brohm or another franchise QB next year, so it doesn't make sense to invest too heavily at this point. 

I'd be curious to know if they inquired about Culpepper - it seemed like he reclaimed some of his mobility, so he might have been a fit.</description>
